Sakkuq Kuujjuaraapik
Sakkuq means "bullet" in Inuktitut and is the landholding corporation for the community of Kuujjuaraapik. Sakkuq Landholding Corporation of Kuujjuaraapik was established in 1979.
Kuujjuaraapik meaning "little great river” in Inuktitut is Nunavik’s southernmost community. It is located on the shores of Hudson Bay at the mouth of the Great Whale River. Kuujjuaraapik is unique in Nunavik as a bicultural community, home to both Inuit and Cree populations. The neighbouring Cree community is known as Whapmagoostui.

Office Complex
Built in 2023, the Sakkuq Office Complex, located at 789 Siikitaq Avenue in Kuujjuaraapik, is a modern administrative facility that houses the corporate offices of Sakkuq Landholding Corporation.
The complex includes two conference rooms and 20 office spaces available for lease, providing professional and functional workspaces to support local organizations, businesses, and community initiatives.
All office spaces are currently leased.
Camp
In 2024, Sakkuq Landholding Corporation acquired a construction camp designed to provide comfortable and functional accommodations.
The facility is available for both short-term and long-term rentals, offering a convenient accommodation option for construction crews, organizations, businesses, and individuals requiring lodging in Kuujjuaraapik.
The camp includes 30 private rooms, each equipped with a refrigerator, storage cabinet, single bed, armchair, and private bathroom. The facility also features a laundry room with four washing machines and four dryers, a recreational room, as well as a kitchen and dining area equipped with a fully functional commercial kitchen.
